Football Gameday Outfit Ideas

Hello loves! Now that football season is underway, I thought it would be fun to share some gameday outfit inspiration. Football games are not only the perfect occasion for showing school spirit but are also a great opportunity to show off your personal style! We all can agree that the tailgates and taking photos with your friends is half the fun right?!

In case you aren't following along on Instagram, I go to The University of Texas at Austin. For our football games, cowboy boots are the norm. These looks can be styled for any school with any color, but I know the cowboy boots won't be accepted everywhere... so feel free to add your own flair! I hope this gives you some inspiration for your next gameday look.

Denim is perfect for any school's gameday. I absolutely love this dress and it can be styled in multiple different ways. Since the dress is simple, I thought pairing it with statement footwear (my longhorn boots!) would be perfect. A statement necklace would also be great with this dress if you're not into the neck ties.

Colorblocking with a neutral color and your school's color is such an easy way to show spirit on gameday. When styling two solid colors, playing with texture adds a little pizazz to the look (like this metallic leather skirt!). I also love bodysuits for gamedays so you don't have to worry about your top coming untucked. (p.s. the Matthew McConaughey button is my favorite part of this look).

Jerseys are the perfect way to show spirit on gameday, and they can be dressed up to look super chic! I think wearing a jersey untucked so that just a hint of the skirt shows is a cute look for gameday. You could also tuck in the jersey and pair with a statement belt. It's hard to tell in the photo, but I paired this look with some earrings that match the color of the jersey.

I hope you found this post helpful! I can't wait to put together my looks for this season!
